Wanhua Skeleton Incident (1958) was released in 1958 with the hope that it can reach the same height of Murder At Room 7, Keelung City. The review was not as kind but the film still manage to gain high reputation. The film told a story of Taiwan in the 1930s: the Japanese Qi Chuan was unemployed. He was introduced to the oil company operated by Muyue, and had a relation with Muyue’s wife Eiko. Muyue dismissed Qichuan, Qichuan wanted to steal money and flee and eventually killed Muyue. Five years later, the bones were dug out, and Qi Chuan was sentenced to hanging. "
